This interactive presentation exposes one of male history’s best-kept secrets: the medical suppression of incest. The strategies employed by medical professionals to keep incest from public view and to erase incest from the historical record are discussed, as are the social and political consequences of the suppression. During our time together, we will talk about these tactics and their deleterious effect on survivors’ health.
